We'll show approx. 60 new oil pastel works and drawings.

Artist Statement
~ Things that are an extension of child heart ~.I'm drawing pictures and being impressed by what happens by chance on paper. What is born out of my unconsciousness beyond my intentions always surprises me and makes my heart dance. For example, it may be the feeling that resemble the joy when children touched the clay for the first time or the surprise when they saw the color change when the paint is mixed. The chain of impulses that have occurred in my mind becomes one visible form by improvisational actions, and this process of work is like an extension of children's doodle, and it is also like music. It's also like alchemy that transforms monotonous everyday life into something wonderful. I hope that the work created in this way will lift the hearts of the viewers, evoke the forgotten child heart and make them smile.

Profile
Dropped out of Musashino Art University, Department of Visual Communication Design. Based in Tokyo. Active in a wide range of domestic and international media such as TV program opening animations, magazines, pamphlets, CD / DVD covers, and textiles. Recently, she has also worked on several collaborations with overseas apparel brands. Being aiming to publish a picture book in the near future
